Farewell from TCWC Volunteer Coordinator

Farewell from TCWC Volunteer Coordinator

Adra instructing a group of volunteers.

As many of you have probably heard by now, I am leaving my role as Volunteer Coordinator for TCWC at the end of June. My husband recently graduated law school and we will be relocating to California where he will start a legal fellowship. While I am looking forward to this new adventure, I am sad to the leave behind the many great people and memories at Tryon Creek. The past three years have been a wonderful learning experience for me and I will be forever grateful for the new skills I have gained and the relationships I have made while working at TCWC. The Tryon Creek watershed is a special place and it has been an honor to work alongside the fantastic volunteers, landowners, and staff that put so much of themselves into stewarding this unique urban stream. I wish everyone the best and I will definitely be keeping tabs on what you all accomplish in the coming years!

Sincerely,
Adra Lobdell
