State of the Watershed
On May 11, in partnership with West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, Tryon Creek State Natural Area, and the Southwest Watershed Resource Center, Tryon Creek Watershed Council hosted the State of the Watershed open house event. At this event, agency partners and volunteers presented their current projects in the Tryon Creek watershed to the public.
Some of the agencies present included the Bureau of Environmental Services, Oregon Fish & Wildlife Service, Tryon Creek State Natural Area, and West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District. Many TCWC volunteers displayed posters and papers about restoration sites, water quality data, and GIS projects.
Overall, this was a great event that allowed presenters and attendees to make connections, network, and celebrate the important work being done in Tryon Creek.
