Successful Watershed Wide Event!
Thank You to the City of Portland Office of Community & Civic Life for sponsoring our 15th Annual Watershed Wide Event!
We had rain, wind, sunshine and got a lot accomplished: Across eight simultaneous work parties, 163 volunteers including 41 youth removed ivy vines from 157 native trees & shrubs, removed invasive plants from 1.1 acres of work area (some dense, some patchy), and planted 790 native plants!
At neighborhood greenspaces, campuses, & parks in the watershed, community members totally turned out for Tryon Creek. Thank you all! Check out our full list of partners at the bottom of this post, and see photos from each site below:
