April 9th to 11th was the annual CONNECT Conference, held in Sunriver this year. This annual gathering of Soil & Water Conservation Districts, Watershed Councils, Land Trusts, and other stewardship organizations, is an opportunity to network and learn from one another. Terri, TCWC’s Executive Director, and Alexis, TCWC’s Program Coordinator, both attended. With different tracks for science and outreach focuses, we learned a lot!

Our Program Coordinator, Alexis, attended the Watershed Management Camp: held at the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest, this was a small-scale conference geared towards Oregon Watershed Council coordinators and directors. It was a great chance to get to know colleagues across the state and learn valuable strategies and best practices.
