Volunteers are always appreciated at Tryon Creek Watershed Council. We couldn’t do our work without folks who volunteer their time to join us at restoration events, lend their professional skills, and contribute to our work in varied ways.
What are some ways you could volunteer with Tryon Creek Watershed Council?
As an individual…
- At a habitat restoration event! Often on Saturday mornings, join us to pull ivy or plant native plants. Our largest restoration event is our Watershed Wide Event, where volunteers gather to steward several different sites around the watershed simultaneously.
- Serve on our board! Our monthly meetings are open to the public and held at the Tryon Creek State Natural Area on second Mondays from 6-8pm. Stay in the loop with TCWC activities and get to know our team. Read more about board service here (link to board page).
- Skill lending! We’re grateful to people who lend their expertise, for instance in graphic design work, to our programming.
As a group…
